Danuel House of Phoenix Suns provides dunk of year candidate vs. Golden State Warriors
Danuel House provided a fun moment for a
team that is spiraling toward posting the league's worst record and a
prominent place in the NBA's draft lottery.
In the Phoenix Suns' game against the Golden State Warriors,
House treated the encounter like his very own dunk contest. Heck, when
you've spent much of your season toiling in the G League for the
Northern Arizona Suns, you have to make the most of your moment in the
show.
House pulled a nifty up-and-under move on
Nick Young, threw the basketball off the backboard to himself and
slammed home one of the most impressive dunks of the season.
For those of you who might be unfamiliar with House,
here goes: He played collegiately at Texas A&M, went undrafted in
2016, signed with the Wizards and appeared in one game,
recording one rebound in 50 seconds of on-court action. He bounced
around the NBA Developmental League — later rebranded as the G League —
for the Delaware 87ers and Rio Grande Valley Vipers before signing a
two-way contract with the Suns in December.
The massive dunk didn't help the Suns much, though, as the team lost a franchise-record 15th consecutive game.
